PECB NIS 2 Directive Foundation (Virtual Classroom, Trainer-Led, 2 Days + Exam + Certification)

This live, trainer-led program offers a comprehensive introduction to the NIS 2 Directive, Europe’s updated framework for improving cybersecurity and resilience across critical and essential sectors. Over two days, participants join an interactive online classroom led by seasoned PECB instructors, who guide them through the directive’s purpose, scope, and essential requirements. 

Through real-time discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, you will learn the core principles behind incident handling, supply chain security, reporting obligations, and governance structures. The course is designed to be highly participatory, allowing for questions and peer exchange throughout the sessions.

Supporting materials include more than 200 pages of in-depth resources, exercises, and correction keys. Successful completion grants 14 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits and eligibility to sit for the included 1-hour online exam, with a free retake option valid for 12 months.

Upon passing, you earn the PECB Certificate Holder in NIS 2 Directive Foundation credential, demonstrating your understanding of the directive and your readiness to support compliance initiatives.

Important Enrollment Information

All trainer-led sessions in our webshop require a minimum of 5 participants. One month prior to the first training date, you will receive an email with one of the following:

• Training Cancellation Notice: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will inform you that the training will not take place.
• Invoice & Confirmation: If the training is confirmed, you will receive your invoice. Payment is required in advance of the training to secure your place.

Scheduling Structure:

• 5-Day Training: 2 weeks with 2 training days each, followed by 1 exam day in week 3.
• 2-Day Training: 1 week with 2 training days, followed by 1 exam day in week 2.
• 3-Day Training: 1 week with 2 training days, followed by 1 week with 1 training day and 1 exam day.

This process ensures transparency, proper planning, and high-quality learning experiences for all participants.
