PECB ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation (Virtual Classroom — Trainer-Led, 2 Days + Exam + Certification)

This foundational training introduces ISO/IEC 27001, the internationally recognized standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS). Delivered live in a virtual classroom, this program combines essential theory, interpretation of ISO/IEC 27001 requirements, and practical examples to ensure participants gain a clear understanding of information security principles and compliance essentials.

Over two days, participants will explore the core concepts of information security, such as risk assessment and treatment, security controls, organizational context, leadership responsibilities, and continual improvement.

The interactive sessions are supported by group discussions, practical case studies, and targeted exercises that help attendees apply ISO/IEC 27001 concepts to real-world organizational challenges. The course includes over 150 pages of structured learning materials, interactive quizzes with correction keys, and awards 14 CPD credits upon completion.

Participants take a 1-hour online exam, included in the training fee, with a free retake available within 12 months.

Successful candidates are awarded the PECB Certificate Holder in ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation credential, demonstrating their readiness to contribute to ISMS initiatives and support compliance with the standard.

All trainer-led sessions in our webshop require a minimum of 5 participants. One month prior to the first training date, you will receive an email with one of the following:

• Training Cancellation Notice: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will inform you that the training will not take place.

• Invoice & Confirmation: If the training is confirmed, you will receive your invoice. Payment is required in advance of the training to secure your place.

Scheduling Structure:

• 5-Day Training: 2 weeks with 2 training days each, followed by 1 exam day in week 3.

• 2-Day Training: 1 week with 2 training days, followed by 1 exam day in week 2.

• 3-Day Training: 1 week with 2 training days, followed by 1 week with 1 training day and 1 exam day.

This process ensures transparency, proper planning, and high-quality learning experiences for all participants.
